Auris is committed to being as open and accessible as possible. We’re a publicly funded festival, and we want everyone to be able to take part. This statement outlines what we provide and how to request support.

Venues

Auris takes place across several Manchester venues, each with different access features. Detailed access information for each venue — including step-free routes and accessible toilets — is available on request, so please contact us before you visit.

SISTER — Reynolds Building: [step-free access / lift / accessible toilets — confirm].

Seesaw Space: [access details].

Anthony Burgess Foundation: [access details].

School of Digital Art (SODA): [access details].

Access provisions

Across the festival we aim to offer: companion / personal assistant tickets at no extra cost; assistance dogs welcome; [BSL interpretation / captioning for selected talks — confirm]; [relaxed or quiet sessions / a quiet space]; and [large-print or digital programmes]. As a sound art festival, some works involve loud, immersive or low-frequency sound — we’ll flag these in the programme so you can choose what’s right for you.
